Indyfluence has always been centered around service and giving back to Indy.
Last year, during the inaugural Indyfluence program that manifested as a day of service. Over 400 interns from 9 organizations participated in 10 different service projects all over the Indy region.
This year, Indyfluence was forced to move to an all virtual, 4-week program due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
We quickly reqlized giving back to Indy would need to be reimagined for the 2020 Indyfluence Interns. But service and philanthropy is a major part of the Indianapolis DNA so we knew the interns needed to feel that connection to our great City.
Here’s how the 2020 Indyfluence interns are GIVING BACK TO INDY this summer:
Four finalist nonprofit organizations from the chosen cause will be introduced to the interns through Indyfluence.com, the Indyfluence slack community, and social media.
The Indyfluence interns will then vote to decide which of those nonprofits will receive $10,000.
